Choose the waste type that best matches what you’re disposing of.

Light general waste – Household items, furniture, white goods, garage items, metal, cardboard, empty paint tins, non-perishable items, green waste, glass, window frames, wood, office clean-ups, foam and batteries.

Construction waste – Renovating materials, non-asbestos cement sheeting, sinks, baths, tiles, concrete, bricks, rubble, plaster, wood, cupboards, carpet, underlay, roofing materials, MDF board, furniture, fencing materials and decking materials. If you have more than 500kg of concrete, bricks or tiles, it may be more cost effective to book a separate concrete bin.

Green waste – Tree branches, plants, lawn clippings, small trees and stumps, leaves, palms and anything accepted in your green bin. No other materials accepted.

Prohibited Items

Food waste, paint, gas bottles, tyres, liquids, chemicals, acids, medical waste, oils, needles or syringes, and asbestos.

Important: Prohibited items mixed into the load will incur general waste disposal fees of $320+GST per tonne for the entire weight of the load.

We provide walk-in bin hire across Geelong, Surf Coast, and surrounds.

Bin Details

Size: 8 cubic metres

Dimensions: 4.2m long, 1.8m wide, 1.1m high

Weight limit: 1,400kg for all waste types. Additional weight incurs a tipping surcharge of $320+GST per tonne ($160 per 500kg), invoiced separately after collection.

Pricing: 7 day hire starts from $850+GST. Additional weeks available at $180+GST per week (up to 5 weeks). Final price depends on your delivery suburb and any additional extras required.
