How to Load Your Skip Bin
Fill your bin level with the top rim. Overloaded bins or items hanging over the sides cannot be legally transported and may delay or prevent collection. Any loose items above the rim will be removed by the driver on collection day.
- Follow all signage on the bin
- Secure the door before your collection day
- No need to rope or cover your load – we securely cover all bins for transport
- We are unable to deliver in muddy or wet conditions, which may include nature strips after heavy rain
Prohibited Items
The following items cannot go in your bin:
- Food waste
- Gas bottles or fire extinguishers
- Liquids or chemicals
- Wet concrete
- Paint (empty paint tins are fine)
- Medical waste
- Asbestos (including old fibro sheeting)
Any prohibited items found will incur additional disposal fees. Bins containing asbestos will be returned to the customer. Bins with large amounts of food waste or other prohibited items may also be returned, or additional fees applied.
Accepted Items
Not sure if something can go in? Here’s a quick guide to what we do accept:
General waste, glass, paper, soft and hard plastics, windows, batteries, metal items, fridges and white goods, pot plants, and empty paint tins.
Please note: concrete, bricks, rock and dirt are not accepted in general light waste, green waste or household clean-up bookings.
Not sure? Just call or text us before loading.
Council Permits
If your bin is being placed on a nature strip or road, a council permit is required. We apply for this on your behalf – permits are usually obtained within 24 hours and are valid for 7 days. Extensions are available if needed.
Delivery & Collection
- Please ensure clear access on both delivery and collection days
- Secure all pets before delivery
- Narrow driveways, overhead power lines, tree branches, roofs and air conditioning units may affect bin placement – our driver will use their judgement to find the safest and most convenient location
- Minimum driveway width is 2.5m
- Your bin can be delivered and collected when no one is home, provided there is clear access
- Any special delivery instructions included in your booking will be followed as closely as possible
Any damage to the bin while on hire may result in additional charges. Please take extra care if loading with machinery.
If you have any questions, give us a call or text on 0427 868 234.
Thanks again – we look forward to making your project a little easier!
